We are not quite sure what a “director of legal affairs” is, if it isn’t just the sort of legal eagle who tells other legal eagles what to do. We think she will probably appear on more than her fair share of panel discussions, and will have a strong view of the revolutionary importance of the firm’s technological solution for NDAs.

Possibly someone of great self-importance who can’t have the title general counsel, because there is already one, but wants to have an important title.
