May refer to the Practical Law Company, considered by some to be the Encyclopaedia Galactica of British legal knowhow[1]in that it is a sober, expensive, compendious and largely useless repository of turgid legal information, but more likely to be a public liability company - one of those soul-crushing, inherently psychopathic organisations we all secretly wish we didn't work for.
