Jeremiah Nuncle, often known simply as “the Nuncle” is a character in Otto Büchstein’s opera Der Kampf um Talente: Nuncle is a former stand-up comedian now employed as chief of staff for Triago, the hapless general counsel of Wickliffe Hampton, an enormous American bank.
