ChatGBT is the wrong side of the reed right proposition. Humans have no great need to generate more screeds of text with or without embedded meaning. The challenge is assimilating all that information and transmitting it into a brain.

Here is where the read/write symbol processing metaphor badly falls down. If we take it back an important part of natural language construction is between this, in the sense of an interpreters own cultural reference points and the interpreters understanding of the communicators cultural reference points come on we can see that chat gbt in itself having no cultural reference points but simply aggregating and pattern matching common leaves and important part of the communication out.
