[[Independent Amount - NY CSA Provision|The]] only substantial difference between the {{1994csa}} and the {{1995csa}} is the reference to {{csaprov|Base Currency Equivalent}} — the Americans, being the curltural imperialists they are<ref>Calm down folks, I’m just winding you up.</ref> — just assume that “{{nycsaprov|Cash}}” and “the lawful currency for the time being of the United States of America” are the same thing. They do: check the definition. Geopolitically, they are not a million miles wrong about this, either.  

There is no equivalent definition in the [[regulatory VM]] versions published in 2016, since they deal only with [[variation margin]] and not initial margin, though you will see if you follow what ''should'' be a broken link, there is a way of reverse-engineering an IM component back into a reg VM {{csa}} with some fancy footwork in the elections paragraph.
