A general meeting of shareholders, which by its constitution and prevailing legislation a in incorporated company must hold each year, and at which the company's results are presented so that institutional shareholders can approve them and the accompanying audited financial statements and confirm the ongoing appointments of directors and officers, and small investors in tracksuits can grandstand and throw custard pies at the fat-cats in the C-suite only to be frog-marched kicking and screaming into the street outside. All good wholesome fun.
