Counsel
A friend in need. As they say: “a friend in need is a pain in the arse”.
This is not, heaven forfend, something you’d ever say about alawyer, of course.
Not to be confused with (the) council, from whom you are unlikely to get an enforceability opinion. Nor, really, with a general counsel, even though one of those is meant to be a grown up version of the same thing.
