An adjectival prefix by which one may loosely collect the crowdwise grand delusions of our time, which have to do with distributed ledgers, permissionless blockchains, cryotocurrencies, bitcoins, shitcoins, stablecoins, non-fungible tokens, decentralised finance, smart contracts and other bright, airless ideas that are presently suffocating the marketplace and starving it of the oxygen it needs to aspirate the better applications to which information technology could more productively be put.
