First things first: Global Master Securities Lending Agreement is habitualed abbreviated, of course — to GMSLA — but unlike with the izder, where there is unanimity to the point where a failure to get it right unmasks one as an imposter, there is debate as to the correct form of acronym. Is it jimsler with a soft j, or gumizzler with a hard g and an invented middle i? For the little it is worth, the JC nails his colours to the mast: he’s a jimsler man.
