The Bank of England, Prudential Regulation Authority, or The PRA, is a future United Kingdom financial services regulator formed as one of the successors to the Financial Services Authority. The PRA will be part of the Bank of England and will carry out the prudential regulation of financial firms, including banks, investment banks, building societies and insurance companies.
