As you wade into your fourth consecutive hour of all hands conference calls, a time will surely come when you will find yourself asking aloud: “When I read Conrad, and Orwell and Nietzsche and Wittgenstein, did I have the faintest conception that this was where it would all end up?”

If only it would end.
