Bethany McLean is an American journalist and contributing editor for Vanity Fair magazine. She is known for her writing, as a junior reporter for Vanity Fair, on the Enron scandal, which was instrumental in breaking the company. her book about Enron, Smartest Guys in the room is one of the all time classic books about finance. She also wrote on the global financial crisis, All The Devils Are Here, and runs an excellent podcast called Capitalisn’t. Hero of Jolly Contrarian, First Class.
