A mountain in Africa which does not, despite what Toto would have you believe, rise like anything— let alone Olympus— above the Serengeti. It rises above the Tsavo.

It is nowhere near the Serengeti. You cannot even see Kilimanjaro from anywhere inside the Serengeti.

IN A CRUSHING IRONY there is one small regard in which Kilimanjaro and Olympus do resemble each other, and that is in how they do not, either of them, rise above the Serengeti.
