A three-letter initialism that should sound an instant air-raid siren in your head.
Usually possessed by management consultants, and aspired to by ne’er-do-well subject matter experts who dream of, one day, being set free from of their mortal confinement (i.e., doing actually useful things) and ascending into the middle management layer where they are less prone to elimination, and more inclined to eliminate.
It is remarkable how easily one forgets. Many a vivacious fellow has gone away to Wharton, and come back dead behind the eyes.
So, head for a bunker if you encounter one of these people, before they easily say something, and assign you to ensure it is done.
They’ll say it’s in the service catalog. You’ll (want to) say, “here’s to you, snapperhead...”.
