One of those short words, like “of”, whose overuse indicates laboured writing.

“This doesn’t improve the commercial opportunity for anyone.”

Use a possessive, and promote anyone to be the focus (if not strictly speaking the subject) of the sentence like so:

“This doesn’t improve anyone’s commercial opportunity.”
