A three-letter initialism that should sound an instant air-raid siren in your head. Usually possessed by management consultants, and aspired to by subject matter experts who dream of, one day, being set from of their mortal confinement, viz., doing actually useful things, and ascending into the middle-management layer where they are less prone to elimination, and more inclined to eliminate.
