In other news, while (er) barking up the wrong tree trying to solving a crossword clue this morning, (“gossip with Jean Paul Sartre’s feline friend?”), I discovered that Sartre did in fact have a cat, and he called it called “Rien”. Which is nice.
When it was constipated, he used to say, “nothing will come from nothing.”[1]
