{{ietaprov|1.1}} This Emissions Trading Master Agreement (which includes its {{ietaprov|Schedule}}s) (the “Agreement”) governs all oral or written agreements between the Parties to enter into one or more Transactions.

{{ietaprov|1.2}} Each {{ietaprov|Transaction}} (as defined in {{ietaprov|Schedule}} 1 (Definitions) below) is entered into in reliance on the fact that this {{ietaprov|Agreement}} (including, for the avoidance of doubt, all of its {{ietaprov|Schedule}}s), all {{ietaprov|Confirmation}}s and all other Transactions form a single agreement between the Parties (together, the “Agreement”), and the Parties acknowledge and agree that they would not otherwise enter into any Transaction.

{{ietaprov|2.1}} Definitions. Unless otherwise defined, capitalized terms used in the body of the Agreement shall have the meanings assigned to them in {{ietaprov|Schedule}} 1 (Definitions).
