If you’ve made the mistake of talking about nu you have shown yourself to be a classicist, not a derivative salesperson. You should not feel bad about that. Nu is the Greek equivalent of “V”, but not the Greeks equivalent of “V”. Derivative salespeople talk about vega, if they’re being honest, and leveraged alpha if they’re not. Not nu.
