I mean how brilliant is that. How can you not be totally swept away by the very name of this thing. Who would not just DIE to know what the Tannhäuser Gate is? It's like a gateway to a wormhole in the space-time continuum or something. But not just a portal to the multiverse — its one with some kind of mythical, Wagnerian dimension to it; a war — GLITTERING WITH C-BEAMS! — a war of the ages, to end all wars, an alpha, and omega a twilight of the Gods ——
