As that great philosopher Shirley Carter told Phil Mitchell in that Eastenders episode all those years ago:

Leave it, Phil, leave it: he’s not worth it.

However wronged you may feel; however misunderestimated, under-appreciated or unfairly maligned you have been, just move on. Quit, if need be. Don’t complain. Don’t take legal action. You will live. It will make you stronger. Dwelling on it won’t, and if you do, people you respect will think less of you. And they won’t tell you.
