A day will perhaps come when when the word coronavirus and covid-19 are not used interchangeably to dominate every newspaper, Twitter feed, Facebook timeline and and zoom conference call agenda in the interconnected world but, as of mid April 2020, that time has not arrived.

For now now know that covid-19 is simply the fancy, technical name for the the strain of coronavirus which is sweeping the world and obliging everyone to stay indoors posting tedious memes and unfunny pop songs spoofs to their favourite WhatsApp channels instead of working.
