Hooker
One who hooks; a player who, on a rugby paddock, stands between the loosehead and the tight-head props and, following put-in, rakes the ball back to his half-back during a scrum. Usually belligerent and with the size, shape and density of a wild boar.
When his playing days are over, a hooker may often be persuaded, for suitable payment, to fraternise with members of the financial services community, such as hedge fund managers.
