Rene Descartes’ famous proof of the existence of God, inferred from the necessary existence of the self. Roundly debunked by Otto Büchstein, who proved that there must be at least three people in the universe, and since they were all engaged on a conference call, God was almost certainly not one of them.

“God is omniscient,” he said. “God doesn’t do conference calls. What would be the point?”
