Annual (n. and adj.)
(Not to be confused with “anal”, other than in the service of weak puns.)
1. (adj.) Yearly.
2. (n.) A bumper edition of a favourite periodical — you know, like the JC — summing up and lampooning what was another predictably disappointing, tedious and hard-to-fathom year. The reasons it was disappointing and hard to fathom may have been different, but the net outcome was the same.
