Andrews J is a High Court judge responsible for some of the more eye-brow raising judgments of recent times, in particular:

• Serious Fraud Office v Eurasian Natural Resources Corporation on the subject of legal professional privilege for in-house counsel (now overruled)
• Greenclose v National Westminster Bank plc on the topic of whether email is an electronic messaging system (not appealed, and for the time being, the law of the land).
