One of the JC’s famous thought experiments, designed to illustrate the basic hopelessness of standard physics to calculate any practical values at all. Even simple ones, like those obetyed by harmless crisp packets in public places on windy days. The JC’s beautiful assistant actually went to St Mark’s square to demonstrate, but it was a bit underwhelming.
