A logical redundancy. Any rights you grant are granted for the purposes of this agreement. Saying so does not, logically, limit that. If you are concerned that your agreement might be so widely crafted as to create obligations beyond its mutually intended subject matter, the answer is to mend your drafting so it does not, and no, spraying for the purposes of this agreement around will not achieve that because, if you have captured it, however unintentionally, under this agreement anything there in will, necessarily, be for the purposes of this agreement.
