Inspired by the Pointer Sisters’ Slow Hand and that smoking, under-appreciated gem, Champaign’s 1981 smash How ’Bout Us — which has surely the sweetest Stratocaster lines in music history — if there was ever a “lick” that deserves the name, this is it — for which step forward one Leon Reeder, from whom pretty much nothing has ever been heard since. From there the list just sort of compiled itself.
