Not to be confused with unjust enrichment, an imaginative synthesis of long-forgotten rules of the common law dreamt up by Lord Goff to bring justice to little old ladies, unjustified enrichment is the compensation paid to a “C-Suite” executive - one of those basking for the time being in the cult of personality, known reverently to all by his — for it will be a he — Christian name.
