Now, it is highly likely they *won't* be amazing either — they’re reading your crappy [[LinkedIn]] post, after all, so that should give you some sense of it — but a feature of mediocrity is gullibility and wilful self-delusion, so they'll probably believe you anyway, and even if they don’t, most people still like to be told they’re amazing, however implausible or disingenuous it may obviously is to tell them that.
