Middle-management jargon which means to “browse the internet”. What most people do during most all-hands conference calls and the brazen do during meetings.
Hence the catch-all when you are caught by a colleague going crazy Ivan on you at the bottom of the hour: “Sorry I was multi-tasking on mute”.
