Once the User’s Guide to the 2002 ISDA Master Agreement was the standard repository of all knowledge and wisdom, though in many the more relaxed civilizations in the financial services galaxy, the Jolly Contrarian has already supplanted the great Encyclopaedia Galactica for that purpose, for though it has many omissions and contains much that is apocryphal, or at least wildly inaccurate, it scores over the older, more pedestrian work in two important respects.
