There's no way anyone can beat the Boeing B-52 Stratocruiser, becausev there is not an aircraft designer in history who would be foolish enough to try to fit nine engines on a plane - these days four is considered profligate - and there isn't a magnificent flying machine equipped with one wankel engine which can queer the pitch.
