The London branch of the International Swaps and Derivatives Association founded in a basement knocking shop on Shortsale Lane, EC3 in 1473. On midsummer’s day each year, members exercise their ancient freedoms to freely short credit derivatives across the courtyard of the Guild Hall.
The best bit? There actually is a Worshipful Company of Management Consultants
