1. (Euphemism)A kickback. A fee or commission “rebate”; a fashionable way of giving backhanders. Depending on your political disposition “part of the normal operation of a well-functioning market” or “institutionalised corruption and yet one more way that Wall Street parasites feed off the blood, sweat and tears of the common working stooge”.
