Multivariate
/ˌmʌltɪˈvɛːrɪət/ (adj.)
A phenomenon explainable by reference to more than one variable — usually several — and whose performance a person responsible for any one of those variables can therefore take credit, should that performance be satisfactory, or blame on something else if it is not. For example, “stakeholder capitalism”.
Compare a univariate phenomenon.
