Litigation
(Redirected from Complaints department)

Litigation: A fancy name for the complaints department.
At least, you’d better hope that’s all it is, because the alternative — the counterparty with whom you pledge your business is so active in its pursuit of legal action against its clients that it employs people on a full-time basis to do that for it — suggests either it is a poor judge of clients, or it does bad business: either it sells pups or misleads about its intentions when getting into bed.
Neither approach befits a good egg.
Litigation as financialisation
Litigation is a good example of the difference between the map and the territory, and the financialisation of commerce.
