In more recently times Linklaters was known for its unintentionally humorous off-kilter wrung-out wet rag logo, and its invention of limited recourse techniques central to repackaging. They also wrote the 2011 Equity Derivatives Definitions in FpML which would be rather like having designed and piloted the Hindenburg, had the Hindenburg not managed to get off the ground in the first place.
