Global Master Securities Lending Agreement
(Redirected from Stock loan agreement)
First things first: the Global Master Securities Lending Agreement is habitually abbreviated, of course — to “GMSLA” — but unlike the izder, where there is unanimity to the point where a failure to get it right unmasks one as an imposter, there is debate as to how one correctly pronounces the acronym. Is it “jimsler” with a soft “j”, or “gumizzler” with a hard “g” and an invented middle “i”?
For the little it is worth, the JC nails his colours to the mast: he’s a jimsler man. But either is fine.
